SDS is an Add-on application of the PCPostit mail management software package. It allows you to send even the most sensitive file via email, with the reassuring knowledge that it can only be opened by the person it’s meant for.

How does it work? The file – whether it’s a legal document, medical record, image, spreadsheet, financial record or database  – is encrypted using the very latest Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Then, a simple one-off password is generated, ensuring the right person opens the document.

SDS is part of the user-friendly PCPostit Package. So, it's as easy as 1-2-3:

1. Select “Send Document Securely” from the secure document service section;

2. Fill in the fields and select the file to be sent;

3. Press Send.

Clear instructions are provided to the recipient, who will also receive two attachments: the encrypted file, and “The Password Key”. 

They will also be instructed to contact you to request a password to open the file. You’ll be reassured that the right person has received it  – and they’ll appreciate the additional security measure, as well.
